Company introduction
Bibibidang is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Korean teahouse—a space rooted in heritage yet refined through a contemporary lens. Since opening its first location in Haeundae, Busan, Bibibidang has quickly established itself as a destination that encapsulates the essence of Korean tea culture, celebrated for its unique aesthetic and seasonal desserts.
Inspired by the serene elegance of traditional Korean tea rooms, the space harmonizes natural materials, minimalist architecture, and subtle lighting. Every detail—from tea bowls and ceramics to curated artworks and interior design—embodies the brand’s philosophy of "timeless elegance."
Our signature menu item, Pumpkin Bingsu, is a refined dessert made from slow-aged Korean pumpkin, while our 15-year fermented Hwangcha (yellow tea) is a rare and treasured traditional tea even within Korea. We also introduced our Pumpkin Sikhye in a convenient pouch format on CJ Home Shopping’s Choi Hwa-jung Show, where it completely sold out.
Bibibidang recently opened its second location inside the Wooyang Museum of Art at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel, further enriching our philosophy in a space infused with history and art.
Beyond our physical spaces, Bibibidang actively collaborates with a wide range of artists. One recent project includes a partnership with artist Boafo, whose distinctive color palette inspired our Mint Peppermint Tea. We also host high-end tea events such as private tea gatherings for Rolls-Royce VIPs, and we participate in various cultural events, including the Korea Travel Fair hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization.
Bibibidang has been honored as the No. 1 dessert café in Korea by consumer evaluations, selected as one of the Top 20 Local Brands by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and recognized as a Tourism Venture Company by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Looking ahead, Bibibidang will continue to blend the depth of tradition with a modern sensibility, sharing the beauty of Korean tea culture with the world.
